With St. Patties day coming up you better go digging in your closet for your favorite shamrock covered apparel because you will be needing it this weekend!
Grand Forks will yet again be hosting a St. Patricks Day Parade in Grand Forks beginning at 3 p.m. March 12 at the intersection of South Third Street and Kittson Avenue in downtown Grand Forks, then proceed southward on North Third Street for five blocks. Everyone is welcome to join – individuals, pets, and floats.
If you’d like to be part of the parade, call Bill Steckler at (218) 791-6162 for more information.
If shamrocks and leprechauns are not your style do not be disappointed! On Saturday 3 teens will be chosen to represent the community of Grand Forks at the Miss North Dakota’s Outstanding Teen Pageant, an official prelim to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, (division of the Miss America Org. not-for-profit group).
Contestants age 14-17 from across the state of North Dakota will compete in interview, aerobic-wear, talent, evening gown, and on stage question.
Hosted by Miss North Dakota 2011 Beth Dennison with guest talent from Miss Empire 2011 Becca Lebak and Miss Eastern Dakota 2011 Nikki Anderson.
Whichever you choose, you are guaranteed to have a fun weekend!
