Everyone likes a cozy blanket and a tall tale. Whether you are hearing stories around the table with a group of friends, reading fables and fairytales to your children before bedtime, or listening to extraordinary writers talk about their work, a good story can inspire and relax the mind.
The Grand Forks Public Library and the East Grand Forks Campbell Library host storytime for children to enjoy listening to their favorite adventures. Visit the Grand Forks Public Library at 10AM every day or the East Grand Forks Library, Tuesday through Wednesday at 10AM or Thursday nights at 7PM. You can also contact your local library about teen writing workshops or book clubs of any genre!
Looking to discuss writing and the work of influential writers of our time? Don’t forget to stop at the UND Writers Conference (Check out our previous post for even more details) where you can sit in on panel discussions, readings, and catch film screenings that are worth watching.
